The Scientist of Yourself

24—25 June 2026

A biology-led approach to performance, health and sustainable leadership

Who this is for

This may be particularly relevant if:

You’re carrying sustained pressure and want to stay effective without burning out.

You’re leading through a period of change and need to be at your best.

You’re part of a leadership team where trust, clarity or cohesion isn’t quite there.

You’re noticing engagement or energy levels slipping—in yourself or others.

You want more agency over your health, stress and performance.

Leaders and those working closely with leaders who want to feel more healthy, resourceful and effective in how they work and live—and know their current strategies aren’t quite getting them there.

John Hill Coach + Facilitator

The problem
Most approaches to performance and wellbeing focus on skills, mindset or resilience. They place responsibility on the individual to cope better.

This work looks instead at your capacity—the biological and emotional signals that shape how you feel, think and perform.

What’s different

Most leadership development, including coaching, focuses on psychology—mind, mindset and behaviour.

This work starts with biology.

It looks at the capacity required to meet the ongoing demands of leadership, and how that capacity is experienced through mood and emotion.

CHX Performance has spent the last ten years developing Scientist of Yourself®, drawing on research in physiology and neuroscience.

This work is led by CHX co-founder Professor Chris Beedie.
